Daily Prompt: Undo - Weaponry

If you could un-invent something, what would it be? Discuss why, potential repercussions, or a possible alternative.

If there’s one thing the world can undo is: weapons. Thousands expense their precious lives daily due to armaments and its abuse. Weapons are tainted daily, regardless what country you habituate, there are always reports broadcasting, “How many have died today?”

War, robberies, murder, bombs, rape are just a few tidbits where many innocents souls have lost their lives and are eventually emblazoned as a statistic. Is that how you’d want to be reminisced? Its conception was a transit of protecting ourselves but with this machinery in the wrong hands, its been the driving force of abrupt world eradication.

We don’t underestimate the psychological effects they cater, even if it doesn’t expire the life of a human, think about the subsequent disorders snowball into that a victim. Life becomes meaningless, frail, delusional, hence suicide. How long are we going to kill ourselves?

What ever happened to fighting with words? Let’s settle it the old-fashioned way and mutually sorting things out. This “human killing machinery” costs lives, words are priceless!

The world would be such a peaceful place if such devastating machinery was never created.
