    • Thanks for the “cool” compliment. It’s my pleasure to be following a fellow “Canuck” eh! Well, your husband has great taste, lol! Your blogs are awesome so keep blogging. Thanks for visiting my blog!

  5. Hi Salman. Thanks for visiting thefirstgates. I found several of your articles intriguing as well. Our notorious shopping day is Black Friday in November, followed a few days later by the increasingly popular “cyber-Monday.” That’s the sane way to go if you don’t want to mingle with crazed, sleep deprived crowds!

  6. Hi Salman. Thank you for the visit and the follow. I’m glad you found something of interest on my blog. I look forward to learning more about you.

  7. Thanks for coming by to like one of my posts at Backyard Philosophy. I really appreciate it. Keep up the writing!

    Welcome Salman…keep flying 🙂

  9. I’m looking at your header and thinking, That doesn’t look like Toronto!

    • No, it isn’t. I just wanted to put something scenic. Coincidently I was looking at Toronto pics and will be changing it, soon.

      • I look forward to seeing a Toronto scene. I’ve never been there. Actually, the only part of Canada I’ve been to is Niagra Falls. My husband has been to Quebec on business and wants to take me there, and my youngest son and his wife ski Mt. Tremblant once in a great while (so expensive, just for the airfare alone!).

  10. Hello. Thank you for being my 50th follower, you have made my day! 🙂

  11. Salman, welcome to WWWW. I don’t a thing about hockey but felt your passion leap off the screen when I read your post about the hockey stick. GL with the post a week… another kind of “goal” to strive for 🙂

  18. Greetings from Australia Salman,
I enjoyed reading through your biography; it seems that you have a health balance between work, family and your interests. I’d dearly love to visit tour beautiful part of the World. Canada seems so picturesque and beautiful. Take great care and God bless you and your family.

  19. Hello Salman
How lovely of you to visit, and follow my blog. Thank you so much. I hope you enjoy it. And thanks for the “like” on the Varanasi post. There’s a new post on Varanasi coming tomorrow. I’m wondering if your heritage is Indian.
We’re also Canadian, though not born there. Before becoming nomads we lived in the (mostly) snowless Vancouver. Before that I lived in the Yukon for nearly 10 years so I know all about shovelling snow! It’s good exercise!
    You tell some wonderful stories.
    Cheers
